Shahina Braganza is a senior staff specialist in Emergency Medicine at Gold Coast Hospital and Health Service. She has previously been Director of Clinical Training providing professional and pastoral input and guidance into the development of Junior Doctors. She has a keen interest in non-technical skills (including communication and leadership) in the clinical practice of medicine – how this influences team dynamics, and ultimately benefits patient care. She is actively involved in the Australasian College of Emergency Medicine, serving on various working groups, and as an Examiner. She has previously sat on the Trainee Selection Committee.
