High performing sportspeople and musicians know the value of practicing the hard parts of any task. We focus on key aspects of the interview process which once mastered will generalise to an improved performance throughout.
Your first session begins with practising questions that you are likely to get at the start of your interview. Feedback is provided along the way. We then provide you a video recording of your session (normally within an hour of each session) for you to review your performance and the feedback of the coach.

Anthony is an expert in Medical HR, a seasoned health public sector executive, medical educationalist and certified coach.
Anthony has reviewed numerous CVs, chaired and conducted over a thousand job interviews and provided advice to a number of employers and Colleges about selection processes. His background: Consultant Psychiatrist and Medical Manager with 20 years’ experience as a medical practitioner in public health services in a range of roles.
From 2012 to 2016, Anthony was the Medical Director of the Health Education & Training Institute (HETI), involved in overseeing a number of network training programs. He is also a Senior Lecturer at the University of Newcastle’s School of Medicine & Public Health, and Year 5 Psychiatry Coordinator. He is currently completing a PhD in Medical Education, exploring personal learning environments in the intern training space.

Whilst CVs, prior achievements, referees and other matters are considered as part of the application process. It often comes down to the interview to decide who gets the job. Sadly many candidates fail to adequately prepare for this important part of the medical job application process. A little preparation and practice can dramatically improve your performance.
You will work one on one with our expert Medical HR coaches during a series of 45 minute web-conferencing sessions. After each session you will be sent a recording of your session for your personal review.*
We recommend 3 sessions. Additional sessions are available should you wish to purchase them.
You will be able to practice a number of the common question types that occur during an interview and be provided with feedback on your technique, including body language, tone and content. If you have one or two specific questions you would like to practice we are able to accommodate these as well.
We use Zoom technology to conduct the coaching. You will need a webcam, microphone and headphones a quiet space and reasonably fast and reliable internet. The system is generally very easy to set up. If you would like to test Zoom on your system you can do so here.
